With the accelerating pace of modern life, finding time to meditate can be difficult. People are busier than any other time in history.
I want to share two of the best ways to find time in your day so you can practice meditation regularly.
- Start with small increments of time.
- Tie meditation to your daily routine.
If you create the habit of meditating five minutes each day, you will begin to see the benefits of meditation unfold in your daily life.
Insights:
I have tried meditation before, but it didn’t stick. I really enjoyed your seminars, and the challenges you described are exactly on point, and your explanation and strategies made me feel I can be successful and experience the benefits of meditation. Thank you! – Cyndy
Next Steps: Guided Meditation
First, review your daily routine. Find a daily habit (in the morning and afternoon) that you can tie your meditation to. Make a commitment to meditate for 20 minutes tomorrow.
Here’s a 20-min guided meditation. You can meditate using this ancient yogic meditation technique. You’ll let go of stress, refresh your mind, and develop a feeling of deep and lasting well-being.
Join the Meditation for Life Facebook community group. We want to hear about your meditation journey. Share your personal story here.
In the next module, you’ll hear from people whose lives have been dramatically improved from starting a meditation practice.

I’ve been in and out of meditation for my whole (long) life. There are various reasons why I never persisted. There was always this question you mentioned – am I doing it right? The notion you shared that there is no wrong way to do it, that the relationship to the experience counts more than just the experience itself – is really encouraging. Is it possible that I have never heard it before, through all the various sources I read or listened to? It really seems I have heard it for the first time in your clip today. Thank you.

Awesome Marina. I’m happy to hear that this distinction was so helpful for you. Has it continued to make a difference in your practice?
