One of the many benefits of meditation is that it reduces your reactivity. You cultivate a sense of ease with your thoughts and enjoy a broad and spacious perspective on life.

Thoughts continue to arise. That’s totally normal. The human mind doesn’t have an on and off switch. But meditation allows you to rise above the noise of your mind.

And with practice, you’ll notice that you aren’t touched or troubled by the erratic movement of your mind.

And remember. In meditation, you never judge your experience. There is no wrong experience.  Everything you experience during meditation is just as it should be. It is exactly what you need at that time.

Next Steps: Guided Meditation

In this second guided meditation, you’ll experience one of the simplest and most effective meditation techniques: Counting Your Breath. During this guided meditation, you’ll relax, focus your mind, and develop a sense of calm confidence. Remember…be easy with yourself. Enjoy this 20-minute meditation.

Hey Lyn, That’s really nice of you to say. Thank you! Breathing is such an amazing way to diffuse stress. I do intentional deep breathing every morning to steady my mind and fill my body with calm and goodness. Great you’re learning meditation!!
