Let’s practice a 12 minute So Hum mantra meditation together silently.
Make yourself comfortable, listen to my voice and I’ll guide you through the meditation.

- Softly close your eyes.
- Turn your awareness to the gentle inhale and exhale of the breath.
- Begin silently repeat the mantra So Hum. You will be in silence for 7 minutes. Repetition of the mantra is more like listening to the mantra rather than repeating it.

- Continue silently repeating the mantra So Hum until you hear the chime.
- After you stop thinking the mantra, rest comfortably for a few minutes. Then, slowly resume activity.
Do you notice any changes in the body?
As you establish a regular meditation practice, you may notice a difference in the mind and body. During meditation you are throwing off stress and toxins as the body gets a deep level of rest and restores itself.
What does Namaste mean?
Namaste means “I bow to you.”
The divine in me bows to the divine in you. I honor you for taking the time to experience mantra meditation. It is an incredible privilege and joy to be your guide.
You’ve begun a wonderful journey. I strongly encourage and invite you to meditate again tomorrow.
Meditation should not be regarded as a learning process. It should be regarded as an experiencing process. You should not try to learn from meditation but try to feel it. – Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche
