Did you know that 25% of energy in your whole body is used to operate your brain?
According to biologist Bruce Lipton, our brains use energy at the same rate as a marathon runner expends energy through their muscles. So, the question is, how are you putting that energy to use?
Bruce Lipton: Conserve Your Energy to Create!
In this short video, Bruce Lipton talks about the effects that worrying has on your health. Speaking at the height of the recent global financial crisis, Bruce compares the energy cycling around your body to the cash flow running through your bank account. You wouldn’t knowingly write blank checks or invest your money in bad investments would you? He suggests that spending time worrying, and being distracted by negative thinking amounts to a bad investment of your life energy.
Bruce suggests we need to be careful about how much energy we invest in our thoughts. Not only because the very act of thinking is energy intensive, but because depending on what you think, you can create a reality for yourself that is counterproductive, and can lead to ill health.
Is this thought going to enhance my life, or is it going to take away from my life? —Bruce Lipton
